Sign up to receive meal kits over Winter Break

During the two-week Winter Break from Monday, Dec. 21 through Friday, Jan. 1, grab and go meals will not be available at district schools. To help ensure families have enough food over the break, Battle Ground Public Schools and Sodexo, the district’s Nutrition Services provider, are providing free meal kits to families who sign up for them.

Meal kits are available at no cost for any child up to 18 years old. Each meal kit includes six days’ worth of breakfast and lunch, and will be available for pickup at Battle Ground and Prairie high schools on Dec. 22 and 29 (Tuesdays). Families in need of meals during break can sign up online using this form. You can pick up a meal kit for each of your children, and you are able to request meals for both weeks or just one, depending on your family’s needs. Pickup dates, locations and times are:

Tuesday, Dec. 22:
Battle Ground High School, 9 to 11 a.m.
Prairie High School, 1 to 3 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 29:
Battle Ground High School,  9 to 11 a.m.
Prairie High School, 1 to 3 p.m.
